I think we might be ready.
Slowly but surely after several rounds of updates, tweaks and many, many conversations, I feel it’s time to define a bit who we are and what we’re up to. [more]
This has been overdue, but I first had to settle down and collect my thoughts and listen to a few people to gather myself and give everyone an update.
First off, a big thanks to all and everyone that came out in support, emailed me, facebooked me, stopped by the store and showed me how strong of a community we are. [more]
Today will be the big Holiday kick-Off event in Downtown. [more]
I can’t help but get excited about Sunday’s Downtown for the Holidays Parade. Olympia seems to love parades. Even some who may not get excited about organized parades in our town will still march up a street occasionally! Maybe we just like the community feel of it? It’s especially fun watching others walk when there are bells and whistles and candy involved. So, I’m stoked to say the Holiday Parade is on track to be the biggest one we’ve ever had!

Sometimes things don’t go the way they are supposed to. Sometimes things aren’t great and wonderful and upbeat.
On a day, today, Thanksgiving, when you’re supposed to spend time with your family, reflect on the good things in life, eat a turkey and prepare for the Holiday madness with some wine, I find myself fleeing all this and contemplate life and trying to control my emotions.
Someone broke a window at my shop last night.
