Marie Poland from Sustainable South Sound gave us a brief overview of the organization and their new BUY LOCAL campaign, which includes flyers and posters and a coupon-book, modeled after the very successful one in Bellingham, will follow soon.
Rob met with Joan Machlis City Council member to get some more perspective and support for the Adopt-an-Alley project. Rob is looking for letters of support from local organizations to get the project rolling.
We had a discussion around the confusing partnership of the ODA and the PBIA. And tried to figure out the role of the VCB and how they could assist Downtown in helping market existing events and amenities.
